Turkey Day in NYC!

So as you all know we headed North to New York City for Turkey Day! It was fabulous…we saw the parade got front row  standing view in the 37 degree weather. So we got up around 4am…yep 4am…and headed outside to mark our spot and waited until the parade started at 9am.  We also ice skated in Rockefeller Center which was awesome….we took a helicopter ride…I surprised the hubs with a birds view of the city…. and stayed in a condo right by Macys rather than a hotel to really feel like a “New Yorker.” It was a great time, and we highly suggest going if you have the chance…maybe rent a place right on the route for warm/viewing pleasure!

Now its time to get the house ready for the Fat Man. Christmas overhaul in the Edwards house is in full swing……Enjoy. (You can click on the photos to view them larger!)

Trick or Treat!!!

So Halloween came and went…..and can you believe it, in a short time the big fat man will be coming down the chimney!?!?!?! Well in true Edwards style we passed out candy to the 5 neighborhood kiddos- note to self NO need to buy 2 bags of candy- a snack size should do just fine for next year, AND….dont buy the pumpkins too early as they rot…but we managed!!! And thanks to the Mr. we were “those people” that put that stupid halloween crap in the yard yep…..that was us! Embarrassing! Anyway the Mr. has been sick for a little while so we have been laying low….none the less we participated, rotted children’s teeth, and had a good time!  Hope you enjoy our few snapshots of the week!
